Apricot Dream 370C is JUB’s Color of the Year 2024. It carries a story of nostalgia, but we experience it emotionally with pleasant and melancholic memories of the past, mixed with feelings of warmth, love, satisfaction and longing. With »Dream Apricot« for the sixth year in a row we are announcing the latest fashionable color trends, this time preserving old artworks in its more modern versions and once again putting the once popular apricot at the top of the colors.
The colour of 2024 takes us back to the 90s, when apricot interiors, sophisticated apricot bedding, pillows, curtains, wallpaper, carpets and just such facades were predominant. They are back this year, this time in their new version. In this color they will brighten up the space and with selected decorative elements evoke pleasant memories of the times we remember with nostalgia.
“By choosing the ‘Apricot Dream 370C’ colour of the year, each of us can bring back memories of the days when we spent more time together and spent more time with family and friends, when we ate home-cooked meals and enjoyed seasonal food, bought higher quality products and spent less,” says Nastja Iskra, JUB’s interior design specialist.
Apricot, once extremely popular in the fashion industry as well as in interior design, offers us a poetic and suggestive inspiration for the design of ambiences in 2024. All this with the ingenious and useful use of quality materials and equipment, especially furniture, wall coverings and decorative elements. Sophisticated shades will also be noticed on the facades of houses or selected elements on the facades. JUB’s colour of the year 2024 – Apricot Dream – pictorially indicates something beautiful and gentle, reflecting a desire to return to a simpler time when our everyday lives were significantly calmer. These memories, through the design of modern spaces, also encourage the selection of sustainable and high-quality products that color and related themes bring to our space.
“With the colour of apricot, we will add softness, serenity and cosiness to the wall surfaces of our living spaces, which will have a beneficial effect on our well-being,” the architect Nastja Iskra puts the Colour of the Year 2024 into the space. He goes on to say that the color of the furniture is also of key importance in the design of interior spaces, as it affects the overall appearance and atmosphere. At the same time, it is necessary to carefully think about the combinations of colors so that they harmoniously match and complement the color scheme of the entire room, shades on the walls, floors, ceilings and other elements in an intimate and warm way.
