How do we read a colour chart

Our colour chart has a meaningful name, which translates to: “All the shades of your favourite feelings” and offers over 600 of the most beautiful shades. We created it to inspire us and help us in the correct selection of shades, regardless of the substrate we want to paint, in the hope that we will always feel good in the company of the selected shades. It is the result of many years of research and development of coloristics and the monitoring of colour trends in architecture and interior design.

How do we read the colour chart "JUB Favourite feelings"?

Check the availability of the desired shade in the selected material in the table at the beginning of the colour chart:

kako beremo barvno karto

The suitability of the selected shade for installation in the exterior is indicated by the “house” symbol:

Permitted installation on the entire facade surface of the building
simbol hiška barvna karta Permitted installation on the entire facade surface of the building, but available in selected materials
simbol prazna hiška Shades with value Y<25. Permitted installation only on certain types and sizes of facade surfaces in selected materials and systems*
prazna hiška zvezdica simbol Shades with value Y<25. Permitted installation only on certain types and sizes of external surfaces**

*Selected materials (e.g. Unixil Cool, Revitalcolor AG Cool) and systems (e.g. JUBIZOL Strong) allow some colour shades with a lower Y. Before deciding on a shade, we must check the technical documentation of the system we are installing.

** The permitted size and type of surfaces depends on the size of the building, location of the building, type of insulation or type of thermal insulation system JUBIZOL. You can find detailed information in the technical documentation or consult the JUB Technical and Information Service before ordering.

The colour chart also shows other materials that can be tinted into any shade or are available in a number of ready-made shades:

  • kulirplasts for protection and decoration of plinths,
  • products for metal substrates,
  • wood stains,
  • topcoats for wood,
  • products for concrete substrates,
  • products for decorative surface treatment.

For help in choosing the appropriate material and/or colour shade, you can also contact our consultants and architects at the JUB showroom in Dol pri Ljubljani.
