Technique instructions

Surface Preparation:

  1. The surface must be solid, dry, and clean, free from loosely bonded particles, dust, oil stains, and other impurities.

Application Technique:

  1. Using a trowel, apply a 3–4 mm thick layer of JUBOGLET Nivelina D and level it to an even thickness with a double-layered wide trowel. Smooth the applied material to a consistent fine structure.
  2. After 10 to 15 minutes, press the JUBIZOL reinforcement mesh, which has been pre-cut to the desired decorative shape, into the material. Cover the mesh with a thin layer of JUBOGLET Nivelina D.
  3. After approximately 30 minutes, remove any excess JUBIZOL reinforcement mesh from the JUBOGLET Nivelina D. Create a decorative texture around the mesh with a decorative brush. For additional surface profiling, use a glue and filler spatula (in a criss-cross pattern) and a plastering trowel. Gently smooth the entire surface, paying extra attention to untreated areas.
  4. After 24 to 48 hours, when the surface is dry, apply DECOR Antique in two coats. Use a rectangular or round brush for application, and wipe the surface with a sponge to prevent the paint from pooling. The drying time between the first and second coats is 4 to 6 hours.
