System description
The CLASSIC technique helps us create the appearance of finely blurred lines which form a delicate pattern. A sense of depth is created with soft and less sharp lines. The currently interesting and fashionable appearance of raw concrete is created with the DECOR Marmorin range of gray shades.

Technique instructions

1. Pre-painting: the surface should be dry, solid and without any oil stains and similar impurities.
2. Smoothing the surface: smooth the surfaces with JUBOLIN P 50 extra fine 0-3 fine in the total thickness of 3 mm.
3. Sanding the surface: sand the dried coat and clean the dust.
4. Impregnation: apply ACRYL Emulsion, diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1, onto the dried coat of JUBOLIN P 50 extra fine 0-3.
5. Manufacture of the structure:
a. Apply a very thin coat (coat thickness ~0.1-0.5 mm) of DECOR Marmorin with a smoothing trowel. Coat surface should be approximately 0.5-1 m2. Apply the material onto the surface in a relatively thin coat. Spread DECOR Marmorin across the surface with a smoothing trowel, “pushing it out” towards the edges in a very thin application. Thus we achieve fusing where overlapping between applications is less noticeable and the passages are softer. Pattern structure is not distinct after the first application.
b. The application of DECOR Marmorin – Coat 2: apply coat 2 of DECOR Marmorin in the same way.
c. Final application of DECOR Marmorin: apply DECOR Marmorin with greater pressure of a stainless smoothing trowel on the surface; the thickness of the application should be ~0.1-0.5 mm, while the surface is also smoothed at the same time. Subsequent smoothing with a rounded smoothing trowel is not necessary since we get a partially shiny surface that provides the feeling of depth and nobleness of the surface. High shine of the surface can also be achieved by subsequent smoothing of the dry surface. The shine will be very intense since the entire surface is substantially smooth and flat, which contributes to creating the sense of depth.
d. For the final protection of the surface, choose the DECOR Marmorin shine coating. Apply it onto the completely dry DECOR Marmorin the following day with a synthetic cloth. It is recommended to apply 2 coats of DECOR Marmorin shine for complete protection. If you wish to create distinct shine, polish the surface with a synthetic cloth to high shine.
