Technique instructions

Preparation of the substrate:

  1. The substrate must be solid, dry and clean, without badly adhered particles, dust, oil stains and other dirt.
  2. Apply AKRIL Emulsion diluted with water in a ratio 1:1 to the substrates.
  3. Smooth the substrate with DECOR Smooth relief. Let it dry for 12 hours and sand it.

 

Preparation of the technique:

  1. By using a decorative roller, apply DECOR Marmorin in the desired darker colour shade (020A) evenly over the entire substrate; you can immediately start applying an even more vivid lighter shade (820C) with a decorative roller, and after that gradually add JUBIN Metal in the desired shiny shade (6408 ). The final application of DECOR Marmorin (290A) is also conducted by using a decorative roller. Allow the substrate to dry completely.
  2. On the prepared substrate, we can start making stencil techniques, which depend on the choice of stencils and the final look. Given that the substrate is in the style of rust, we recommend a selection of stencils that emphasize metal objects. For the stencil technique, DECOR Smooth relief is used, which is applied directly to the stencil. When it dries, we sand it and dust it well.
  3. The stencil technique can be painted with any decorative dispersion paint, which is available in all shades (DECOR Desert, JUPOL Gold, JUPOL Trend, JUPOL Brilliant, JUPOL Latex, etc.).
  4. We begin to decorate the substate with sheets or foils by applying a suitable adhesive to the surface and then start gluing the sheets or foil.

 

For a metallic effect, you can also use other decorative techniques, e.g. DECOR Acero, DECOR Versus, etc. where after making the technique with the DECOR Marmorin product and the dried last coat, we apply a suitable adhesive and use foil.
