Technique instructions

1. Pre-painting: the surface should be dry, solid, without any oil stains and similar impurities. Ensure colour equality of the surface. If necessary, undercoat it to obtain a uniform colour tone of the surface. Use JUPOL Gold (020A).
2. Smoothing the surface: with JUBOLIN P 50 extra fine 0-3 with a stainless smoothing trowel.
3. Sanding the surface: dedusting of particles by hoovering or a fine brush.
4. Impregnation: with ACRYL Emulsion (1:1 ).
5. Manufacture of the structure
a. Coat the surface with DECOR Marmorin (020A) in a thin coat (in thickness of ~ 0.5 mm) using a clean, stainless smoothing trowel. Place the smoothing trowel gently and flat on the surface. With circular strokes, DECOR Marmorin, which has been applied to the smoothing trowel, spills slowly onto the surface in the form of irregular spots. While doing this, do not press and smooth.
b. Distribute the freshly applied (wet) DECOR Marmorin with a small (10 cm) foam structural roller across the surface with vertical and horizontal strokes.
c. This is immediately followed by an additional application of DECOR Marmorin 020A with a large (18 cm) foam structural roller. Distribute the application with vertical and horizontal strokes across the entire surface. After 10 to 15 minutes, repeat the procedure with DECOR Marmorin (820 C).
d. After 2 to 4 hours, apply JUBIN Metal (6408) to the surface with a small and large roller, taking care that the applied layer is not topcoat, but translucently mottled.
e. Apply the last coat of DECOR Marmorin (290 A) with a small and large structural roller, so that no traces of the roller can be seen. The amount of the application depends on the desired intensity of the appearance of rust.
