Technique instructions

Surface Preparation:

  1. Pre-coating: The surface must be dry, solid, and free from stains, oils, and similar contaminants. Ensure color uniformity across the surface. If necessary, pre-coat to achieve a uniform base color tone using JUPOL Gold (020A).
  2. Smoothing the Surface: Use DECOR Smooth Relief or JUBOLIN P15 with a stainless steel spatula.
  3. Sanding the Surface: Dust removal should be done with a vacuum or fine broom.
  4. Impregnation: Apply ACRYL Emulsion (1:1 diluted with water).

Technique Application:

  1. With a clean, stainless-steel spatula, apply DECOR Marmorin (020A) in a thin layer (~0.5 mm). Gently and flatly place the spatula on the surface. Using circular motions, transfer DECOR Marmorin, which has been applied to the spatula, onto the surface in irregular blotches. Do not press or smooth it out. While the applied DECOR Marmorin is still wet, use a small (10 cm) foam structural roller to spread it across the surface with vertical and horizontal strokes. Immediately after, apply an additional layer of DECOR Marmorin 020A using a large (18 cm) foam structural roller, distributing it in vertical and horizontal strokes across the entire surface.
  2. After 10 to 15 minutes, repeat the process with DECOR Marmorin (820C).
  3. After 2 to 4 hours, apply JUBIN Metal (6408) with a small and large roller, ensuring the applied layer remains patchy and transparent rather than fully covered.
  4. Apply the final layer of DECOR Marmorin (290A) using a small and large structural roller, ensuring that no roller marks are visible. The amount applied depends on the desired intensity of the rust effect.
