System description
JUBIZOL Horizontal is a contact thermal insulation system with a finishing coat made of ceramic tiles for external walkable floor surfaces (balconies, terraces, etc.). It can be installed on new and old buildings, where we simultaneously meet the requirements for sufficient and effective thermal insulation and adequate protection of floor surfaces against rainwater and other environmental influences. By installing the JUBIZOL Horizontal system, we effectively solve the phenomenon of thermal bridges on facades where large heat losses occur through cold places, such as balconies and terraces. It is a thin-coat system, onto which concrete floorings (screed) in thickness of 5 or more centimeters are not installed, so the final height of the floor is not raised despite the additional coat of thermal insulation. It is an excellent solution for the renovation of balconies and terraces, where we are limited by the existing height of the doorstep, balcony railings, stairs and various junctions with neighboring surfaces.

Advantages and beneits for investitors
  • A rational solution when renovating a balcony: instead of concrete floorings (screed), we install the JUBIZOL horizontal system and thus thermally insulate the balcony panel and maintain the existing floor height
  • Effectively solves the problem of thermal bridges on balconies/terraces
  • The optimal alternative to the installation of traditional concrete floorings on an EPS insulation board
